About Erika Eineigel

Plain-speaking, I work hard and I work smart.

Formerly a practicing litigator, I made the leap to copywriting in the Fall of 2009 when I realized that working hard and smart at what you are most passionate about feels a lot like playing.* Which translates to results that nobody has yet figured out how to fake.

I have a passion for persuasive writing: copy that sells an idea or a widget. I love the daily nitty-gritty of writing, analyzing, and re-writing. If I won the jackpot, or got to collect everyone else’s “Go money” in real life, I would still be writing copy. That’s a good test, I think.

* Here's a helpful wiki definition: Although concerted endeavor has been made to identify the qualities of play, this task is not without its ambiguities. For example, play is commonly perceived as a frivolous and non-serious activity; yet when watching children at play, one can observe the transfixed seriousness and entrancing absorption with which they engage in it. … Play is a rite and a quality of mind in engaging with one’s worldview.
